Q: Why "bourbon barrel"?
The pepper is cracked from whole peppercorns aged in bourbon barrels. That's not branding fluff — it actually changes the flavor. More depth, less bite. Worth knowing.

Q: What does it taste like?
Smoky, peppery, savory, with a touch of sweetness from the brown sugar and molasses. The ancho pepper adds a slow warmth on the back end. Think "steakhouse rub that someone actually thought about."
